WideXP

Built to scale. Engineered to win.

Infotainment ECUs are at the heart of modern connected vehicles, enabling software updates, communication, and user interaction. What used to be simple media systems have now become complex, safety- and security-critical ECUs. These systems must support secure firmware updates, reliable communication across multiple vehicle networks, and strong cybersecurity protections.

In this project, we developed the bootloader software for an infotainment ECU, ensuring secure and reliable operation from startup through deployment. Our team worked on diagnostics implementation, hardware security module integration, and communication stacks covering CAN, SPI, I2C, and UART. We also focused on software integration, unit testing, and acceptance testing to ensure system robustness.

The solution included strict requirements management and validation processes, ensuring compliance and traceability throughout the software lifecycle. At the same time, we aligned development with functional safety and cybersecurity principles. The objective was to create a secure, maintainable, and production-ready bootloader platform. The result was a reliable ECU capable of supporting secure firmware updates and robust infotainment system operation across connected vehicle platforms.
